My knock-off crocs weren’t rockin’
I filled the “broken strap” block in.
But there was a rescue
I strolled through the fescue
Crocs secure, with nary a rock in.
I was at the store when I decided to do a good deed, and tried to clear a bump in the entry mat without using my hands. Kicking at one end didn’t help anything, so I tried jamming the other end with my heel. The rug stayed firm, but the strap of my right knock-off croc broke. Right where my favorite ferret Bruiser had been chewing on it. But when the Boss’s ferret wants to play with your knock-off croc, whattaya gonna do??
So I was bummed for a few days. Then I realized I had another set of knock-off crocs (the blue ones) that had a strap that might work. And it did!
So now my knock-off crocs are rockin’. One has a blue heel strap, but I’m much bigger on functionality over looks.

Man, if your original knock-off crocs were just black. . .you’ve had black ‘n blue crocs.
. . .which I’m sure is a metaphor for something. But it’s late. I’m tired. I need sleep.

My crocs are now black and blue
Not with bruising, it’s just the hue
But the black’s really brown
And the blue goes around
My heel, to keep my foot in the shoe.
