But I almost went to Spanish-speaking South America.  At least, somebody tried to use my credit card there.

I haven’t heard of Estado airlines, but it looks like a little regional company, based out of Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Maybe not so small – they have some C-130s and some 707s.  Somebody tried to be me and buy tickets on that airline while they were in Santiago Chile (a little town of seven million!).

I’m real happy that the credit card company declined those transactions, and that we use a separate credit card for internet purchases.  No lost money, no trying to get a refund for tickets we didn’t buy.
