I’m catching up on some reading, and came across this article.  The headline says

Cisco security updates squash router bugs

Who even knew that you could route a vegetable?  And wouldn’t a fine, upstanding company like Cisco want to get rid of bugs, instead of updating the bugs?  I mean, sure, they’re a higher class of bugs afterward, but still . . .

At least their security group is doing it, so all the people running squash routers are assured of having secure bugs.  Nothing as scary as insecure bugs.

And then the article goes off and talks about something else entirely, not mentioning improved bugs or squash routers.

But seriously, this is the internet.  Be frivolous with the electrons and put in more words.  The site is for a dead tree magazine, which may have space limitations, but that’s one bad headline.
