There’s something about a book.  Something about the heft of it in your hand, how it opens to a favorite passage – even how it smells.

Electronic books just can’t duplicate it.  Yes, the Kindle is nice, and you can do a lot of impulse buying wirelessly (no, I don’t have one).  They come close sometimes, but they’re not there yet.

Electronic books just got a step closer to matching physical books, though, with the introduction of Smell of Books.  These wise people know that it’s a total experience, that it’s much more than paying a price and reading words.

I’m thinking of picking up a can of Classic Musty Smell for when I’m reading some Sherlock Holmes using Mobi Reader.
