I don’t often turn towards the political spectrum on here, but this is one time I’m going to be ahead of the pack.

When Sarah Palin resigned today, it was so she could be the next Supreme Court justice.

Sotomayor is out, with the reversal on the New Haven firefighters and now the links to the radical Puerto Rican group becoming evident.

Palin is not an obvious choice, but I think she’ll be able to charm her way through the senate hearings, you betcha.

Impossible, you say?  Well, consider how impossible it would have seemed a year ago for the US president to take over several large banks, major swaths of the auto industry, propose insuring everyone in the US, and use cap-and-trade to ensure that we will never be able to dig our way out of this depression.

Stranger things have happened.
