In their past two games, the Cincinnati Reds have been outscored 32-2.

This is not ten games or twenty games – this is two night’s worth, including last night’s 22-1 shellacking.

So I’m thinking government bailout, or a Supreme Court decision, or something similar.  It’s just not fair.  They’re trying.

Really, really trying.  Get-on-your-last-nerve, please fire everybody and bring in a high-school team trying.

Last year, they had promotions for half-price tickets and dollar hot dogs.  With the team’s performance, they’ll need negative-priced tickets and dollar Cadillacs.  And they’ll still have problems filling the stands.
