One hour and eight minutes.  Just enough time to get ramped up on a project.

That’s LBJ taking the oath of office for the presidency, aboard Air Force One, as Jackie Kennedy looks on.

She doesn’t look like a lady who has had her husband murdered beside her an hour before.  I’m sure everything was a blur, but JFK’s body had already been moved to the hold of the airplane and they were waiting to swear in the new president before taking off.

Everyone else looks more serious, somber.  She doesn’t look as stunned or shocked as I would expect.  I know I’m reading a lot into a single photograph (details here and here), and I’m not trying to make any points.  It just caught my eye.
