Back when I thought I wanted a dual-screen laptop, I was wrong.  I mean, that was so last month.

I want this thing.  Quad-core laptop, up to 6G, 750G solid-state drive (or 1.5T if you’re willing to wait on spinning disks).

The screen is a massive 1920 x 1200 (1600 x 1200, but stretched to a widescreen).  The speed is fantastic – see a review here.   The review ends

overall system performance is about 60 per cent stronger than any other laptop we’ve reviewed recently.

The downsides are the weight (about 12 pounds), the battery life (75 minutes), and the price (probably somewhere north of $5K, accessorized nicely).

If somebody would remove that last limitation completely, I’d live with the first two.
