Back in February, Bettie and I visited GreenAcres, the old Fleischmann mansion that has been turned into an arts center.  Saturday night, we went out on a date night.  Cincinnati’s Playhouse in the Park is putting on an adaptation of Kipling’s story of Rikki Takki Tavi, presented in the large salon in the mansion.  It was fun – even though it was aimed at kids, I got a lot out of it.   The acting was good, the set was minimal but well-used, and the sound and sight lines were fantastic (as appropriate, with only four rows of seats).

By the time it was over, and we had talked to the cast and crew, it was dark outside.  Didn’t stop us from taking pictures.

And for the record, we prefer the mansion without snow.
