I wanted today’s Cool Tool Tuesday to be about EasyBCD, which is a piece of software that lets you choose which hard drives you boot up from.
This would have been really useful, given that Bettie’s PC should have had a Solid State Disk installed. But it’s not installing. The hardware sees it, but the software doesn’t. Windows 7 cannot detect any drives, even though I see it identified correctly when the system is booting up. And the most recent Ubuntu does something strange, showing the logo but not going any farther. So it’s back to old spinning technology for Bettie, and I try again on Tuesday night.
And maybe I’ll have a second post, declaring that it really is Cool Tool Tuesday.
I can hope.
