The I write like style analyzer says

I write like William Gibson

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

This is based on analysis of my complaint about lack of electricity and running water here.  I think that perhaps I’m schizophrenic, though, because I write like Charles Dickens based on this piece, , like Cory Doctorow based on this and this, and like Douglas Adams based on this.  I ignored the one where I wrote like Dan Brown.

Overall, I think I’ll stick with the first one.  William Gibson spawned a whole genre of science fiction and hacker culture with his Neuromancer.  Impressive work.  I don’t expect to match it – he leaves big footprints.  But he also leaves traces everywhere, and that I could do.
